------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Release Notes ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This release includes two rare official Wham! albums: Wham! - Music From the Edge of Heaven 1. The Edge Of Heaven (4:31) 2. Battlestations (5:26) 3. I'm Your Man [Extended Simulation] (6:05) 4. Wham Rap '86 (6:38) 5. A Different Corner (4:33) 6. Blue (Live in China) (5:43) 7. Where Did Your Heart Go? (5:43) 8. Last Christmas [Pudding Mix] (6:44) Wham! - Twelve Inch Mixes 1. Wham Rap (Enjoy What You Do) [Unsocial Mix] (6:44) 2. Young Guns (Go For It) (5:12) 3. Freedom [Long Mix] (7:07) 4. Everything She Wants [Remix] (6:30) 5. I'm Your Man [Extended Simulation] (6:54) "Music From the Edge of Heaven" was released only in Japan (1985) and the US (1986). In the rest of the world, the final Wham! album was titled "The Final". It was the swansong for the duo's succesful career, which began in 1984. The "Twelve Inch Mixes" was the first proper compilation without new tracks from the band. Those two albums contain not only new tracks (for the era), but some live tracks and remixes, not available either on Fantastic! or Make it Big. I'd like to call your attention on "A Different Corner", which contains an instrumental intro not found on the regular 3:57 version found on "The Final" CD, which I never heard anywhere else but on the vinyl version of this album. You'll probably notice there are two versions of "I'm Your Man [Extended Simulation]", with different running times. On Wikipedia you can find some text regarding this: "An extended mix of the song was released on Wham!'s 1986 album Music from the Edge of Heaven (the U.S. version of their final album The Final). Added to the song are tape effects (including several repeating words and phrases), a bass solo at the halfway mark, and a segment based on Andrew Ridgeley's race car driving hobby: an announcer saying, "He's brave! He's tough! Mr. Ridgeley, do your stuff!", racing cars zooming past, the sounds of a car crashing, maniacal laughing from Ridgeley, and Ridgeley saying "Now where's the bar?" in a high-pitched voice. Furthermore, the 12-inch version (see below) features even more new material added, with dialogue between a man and a woman (really Michael and Ridgeley with their voices altered), with the man trying to persuade the woman in a "magic car", replacing an entire verse in the song." In order to keep the very same structure than on the regular CDs, I've uploaded them using a .bin/.cue Image profile. You can mount those images on Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, PowerISO, Ultra ISO, and read it as a regular CD, or burn them with your regular burning software (Nero, Alcohol 120%, good old CDRWin should work fine). Feel free to reencode and upload again using any codec you want, but credit would be appreciated. Greetings RePoPo -------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stop being such a homophobic ponse. Wham were very good and excellent songwriters. Me & the missus have great memories of Wham.

Thanks for the torrent. Just in case you need some help getting the tracks. I downloaded ISO Buster for free. (You get it at snap files. It has some adware like toolbars for FireFox, so just don't install those)
Anyway install ISO Buster, then go to Open Image, open the CUE file NOT the image. The right click and pick EXTRACT RAW and pick the option that has .WAV (it's probably the first one). Then it will make you pick a folder to extract it to. Then it will extract the image. Then you will have the tracks in .WAV form. You can convert these to mp3, mp4, WMA or FLAC or whatever you want
